Linux is an alternative Operating System which benefits from its open source conception by remaining free (certain distributions) for most users and giving you the oppertunity to to improve and customise. Linux has been a very "techy" operating system but now there are "distros"(disstributions) which are very simple and can be used as a direct replacement for microsoft and other operating systems. Tired of not haveing ability to update(not that I am suggesting that people have illegal software installed on PC's) well you can update till the cows come home with linux and most windows based software has an alternative on linux. check it out and you may never go back to.... Everyone has heard of torrents at one time or another. What exactly is a torrent? A torrent is a file that has been broken into small pieces and is shared by many connection's to multiple users. In this way the files may be shared BEFORE the entire file is downloaded. Torrents are usually talked about in terms of illegal downloads but many ligetimate torrents are out there with lots of usefull apps,Operating systems and much more.
